Bargain movies

I used to go to blockbuster two times a week or more but the movies got more expensive and the quality and selection is smaller every time. One day while doing groceries at stater brother, I saw many people in line of a red box machine. I asked them what was going on and people started to talk about how expenses going to the movies has became impossible when you got a family of four or more members and renting movies also has became expensive. They were saying that the red box was only a dollar for movie and that if you get the movie early you can have the movie until the following day at 9pm. Late fee is only one dollar for each day you are late. However, the selection is limited it is an option that in this economy was appealing to me but I believe that was to good to be true. Later in the week, I brought a movie for five dollars that it turn to be fraud because they keep my five dollars and it was an empty case. Now, I rent DVDs at the red box for only one dollar and even though their selection is small there are time that you can get a decent movie for only a dollar so it is a good deal. I do not buy or rent movies the way I used to but thanks to red box a still watching the movies and the commentaries from the writers and directors of the movie.

The Directors

Cinema is an art form in which has a message and language with a specific way to touch the audience. Movies is a fascination of my own in which as a student of filmmaking transports you to different scenarios. As a filmaker you have the opportunity to tell the audience about story for education, entertainment, and information. Today, I will tell you about my three favorite directors in the film industry because of their passion and innovative approaches. The first director is George Lucas, he is one of my favorite of the motion picture films. The movies like star wars really grab my attention as a film and storyline. The second director is Steven Spielberg, some of his film accomplishments are E.T.; Jaws; Schiellers List; Raiders of the Lost Ark. The last director is Orson Wells although is not well known to people from generation X. Orson took cinema to a step beyond with the special effects and new ways to shoot a film that was never done before. For example, "Rosebud" his famous line from citizen kane a film way before his time. I have given a brief look into the three directors of motion picture films that I like due to their passion and innovative ways of filmming tells the audience a story that sometimes it is our story that we can identify with in our own lives.

Three bigges challenges

One of the biggest challenges in my life has being the loss of my mother because I was a nineteen years-old a young man in the Army stationed in Germany when I was notified. For many years, I did not wanted to acknowledge her death and I will suffered in silent. I oppressed the pain and anger inside of me without knowing the emotional damages I was putting myself through. The military helped me but it was also a challenge because of the enduring exercise and awakeing so early to train. My second challenge is being achieving higher education because for many years I have being dreaming of obtaining a degree. I believe that education is power and I will continuing to persuade my dream. I know is hard due to my job that takes most of my time. At times, I feel like a slave because I work many hours and the pay is extremely low. Most of the days I am working and when I am off I am physically tired. The last challenge is doing assignments because it is hard to learn at fast pace for me because I being out of school for many years.

The Garage

The garage is a place of refuge for me because I enjoy working out and socializing with my friends.The stale slight gasoline smell motivates me in the morning.While in my garage,I can hear people walking by,see children playing basketball,and hear stereos in cars when they drive by.During the weekends,I invite friend's over for a taste of cold beer and watch a football game.Inside my garage,walls are full of pro-athletes and female supermodel pictures to keep me company when I'am alone.Many mornings,I have changed the brakes on my car,with the cold tools I grip that turn warm from the heat of my hands.Therefore my garage is and have always been the best place for my relaxation and personal relaxtion and solitude.

Writing skills

Today is the first day I started writing on my new blog.Therefore I must admit this is fun for me to write or express myself.My Instructor Mr. Murphy in my English class made this a requirement to be a student in his class.So starting it took some time but I have arrived.The goal I have set out to achieve is to start writing screenplays then soon directing short stories and then low budget independant films,and documentries.The first six weeks in class I realized how important writing is and how it is in the filmaking process/business.Mr.Murphy has open my eyes to the basics of structure of a paragraph then a essay.how to grab a reader and slowly open there mind and insight into what you are saying,or story you are telling.I still have alot to learn however Iwill try to drain as much knowledge Ican from my good and bad wrting habits to make me a better writer or studentfilmaker in the present and beyond.
